Week in pictures - Friday

Canary Wharf in the morning.

Was going to do Canary Wharf in the evening, but got distracted by this - the ladies toilets in the bar we went to in Canary Wharf. Look at it. It was nearly bigger than our house, and definitely more luxurious. It has three chaises longues in it. Why?

And how much was a beer in a bar that has chaise longues in it?

That toilet looks great there are so many public toilets you go into and end up walking out because they stink of pee.

I'm seriously considering it GG.

US, we were on the vino, but I suspect it would've cost an arm and a leg. You pay for that kind of ambience, you know...

Growing Up, it was a very chi-chi establishment. It looked like Laurence Llewelyn Bowen had been allowed to run amok in there with a large budget.

Adrian, you have to hurry up, mate! I've already hired the one on the right!
So, what's this place called then, Annie?

Annie said...

Cream, I just found out it was a Wetherspoons, which is surprising, mostly they are known for being very cheap and cheerful.

That's amazing, because they are cheap as you say. Must be their other flagship, Lloyds Bars...

No way? I hate Weatherspoons so much. Don't belive it.

Normaly known for being cheap. Not really all that cheerful. It's the carepts that drive me nuts. And the chavs.

And the alcohol. It's hard to ruin a vodka and tonic, but theirs tastes like paint stripper (in a different branch).

Also I can't stand the guy who owns them either. Because he is a knob and has a mullet.
