I´m in London then, can I join you?

Do I have to take pictures too? because I´m not very good, but I am good at noticing bizarre things.

PS - if we get a place, I´ll get your ticket as a birthday present. The straw donkey and sombrero can wait another year!!

PS - Not that I´m trying to buy a place on your team or anything.....

Yes indeed Em, it'll be twice as fun with you - though they are rejecting my password at the moment, so hopefully it won't sell out yet. Thanks for the offer of ticket as present, that will be marvellous.

I would like... but I'm a way too far from London... ahh...

I wish you could, Shyha - I think this is such a good idea, I'm sure it will take off and you'll get one happening near you soon.

Em, there's a bit of a scary disclaimer on the details -

By signing up to the event... you indemnify us of any and all responsibility in respect to all injury or death to you (and your team mates)

- so no dangling off the Hungerford Bridge to get that special shot, okay?

O.M.G. that sounds like the best fun. to come and play with you and Emma in a team that would be...My power to express such goodness has been expunged by the dissertation I'm reseaching and writing in two weeks. By the way do you think you think that's possible Annie?

I would be lucky to be on your team as you're such a great photographer *slurp*

Let me know x

Hurray! Team name is "Flash Chicas".

G, your dissertation will be a cinch. Get yourself some Pro-Plus, it's the only way. And some, um, Edward Said ?

Excellent, I think the element of near death experiences will add a certain something to our pics.

In Barcelona there was an excellent public service piece of advice for the forthcoming Saint Juan celebrations where people run round dressed as devils waving fire at each other (as I´m sure you remember from your time here):
"In the event of your clothes catching on fire, do not run. Roll on the ground" - excellent, I think Cataluyna is the opposite of the nanny state - could you imagine such an event in England if there was even the slightest chance of anyone catching fire?

Also reminds me of some instructions I read on a firework packet in Thailand which Cultural Snow may be able to corroborate: " Light fuse. Run Away."

Is it me, or is it getting like a pyjama party in here? Of course you must come Bad Sar. Okay, that's it, four is the maximum number - Flash Chicas are good to go.

You don't have to transfer money Sar - but if anyone else reading this wants to, please feel free

Em, I remember and love San Juan. As I recall, Barceloneta beach was like a warzone what with all the smoke and bangs. Crazy nutter Catalans.
