I truly can't believe that Sly Stone (I didn't even know he was still alive) and Deborah Harry, two of my absolute musical heroes, are going to be playing on the same day, a mere stone's throw from my house, and on my birthday - it is surely just some cruel hoax on the part of the universe?

Cor. Are you gonna go? Hackney seems to be making a fortune out of its parks lately, there was StokeFest yesterday - went past Clissold Park and it is full of rubbish. Hooligans.
I know so many people whose birthdays are between 20th and 30th July. Including my own. Spooky.

Violet, I surely am. I went to Stokefest, it was a bit full-on for me, must be old age. Having a birthday in the summer is a good thing, especially when you're at school and don't have to be at work.
