Here is what you should do: make a ragdoll, cut some of techie boy's hair and mix in the ragdoll stuffing. Glue a photo of techie boy over the ragdoll's face. And that is that: you're now the proud owner of a working voodoo doll! When you're done pinning it and kicking it around place it in a box with a tape recorder with auto-reverse and a tape of seventies hits!
Adrian, um... he downloaded music onto my hard drive from another hard drive, then he plugged in his ipod and in so doing appears to have replaced my itunes music library with his own. Or something.
Hey, US. (Welcome back to the world of central heating.)
Technology's rubbish, I heart tapes too Matt, they're still knocking around somewhere, but nothing to play them on...
Dcver, when he comes round here again I'll get the scissors out.
Annie, head to the apple uk website. Click on support and then on discussions. Choose whatever itunes applies to you (windows/mac) and have a look through the threads. I'm sure you'll find some help there. Oh and be prepared some of them can be a bit ... earnest! :D
I know. I will if I can catch him. They're elusive little buggers. They come round and take up your hard drive with more U2 and Radiohead albums than you ever realised existed, and you're tripping over wires left right and centre, then they disappear for days. Grrrr...

What did he do?
We never had these problems with cassettes. You can't beat a bit of progress.
I *heart* tapes.

Rad, I could spend hours on these threads. It's a whole other world. Might go shopping for a gramophone.
I did warn you :)
The other thing you can do is get techie-boy and kick him in the nads, really hard. It won't get your tunes back, but... Y'know! ;)

I don't understand why techie boy did what he did.
My mum still has lp's...you know those good ol' fashioned vinyl things? And a player for them too.
I don't understand the techie boys, full stop GG. Especially when they ask you unanswerable questions about POP access and IP addresses.
I miss my LPs. You can't obsess over an MP3 file like you can over an LP cover. Your mum has the right idea.
