Shoes

Couldn't explain this phenomenon if I tried. Surely I'm not alone in this.
These are the kinds of shoes I buy:-

These are the shoes I wear.

The madness must stop. Sorry, shoes. I'm packing you off to Ebay.

I do not understand this phenomenon at all. I have shoes. I wear them. I buy shoes that I want to wear, or need for something (hiking/travelling/working). I would never buy a pair of shoes that didn't fit me, or I thought I wouldn't wear. Am I too practical? No, I am a bloke.

And don't get me started on the "buying a dress for ONE occasion and never wearing it again".

Have you been watching Sex and the City again Annie?

I know, Matt, I know, it's all wrong. You look at them and think, they're so pretty. They want to come home with me. Then they go straight in the cupboard, never to be seen again. It's twisted.

The Curve, "I couldn't help but wonder, are shoes the key to our fantasy lives?"

You're right, I aspire to be Carrie. She can get away with the dainty shoes because her job seems to consist of tip-tapping delicately away at her laptap in a nice bar whilst sipping at a cocktail. Whereas I come home from work with paint in my hair, and plasticine and confisticated toy cars in my pockets.

The pair at the top are dead sexy. I could fall for a woman in shoes like that.

What's with women and shoes?!?!? Isn't there ONE woman who is reasonable when shoes are concerned?

I wear a pair of shoes until I feel the rain wet my socks...and then I stick them in the bins and get another pair! No Joke!

No, no, Annie, don't sell them, wear them, indulge your Inner Imelda Marcos.

Hi Dave F. What, you're saying the trainers are not dead sexy?

Dcver - nope.

Cream - where's the fun in that? Tch, men, so practical.

GG - oh no, don't encourage me! There never seems to be occasion to wear them.

But they are so beautiful. People collect pieces of art or sculpture - why not shoes? Why not have a viewing? Display your shoes, invite the girlies over, drink cocktails - make it work for you!!!
