Presently...

Eventually...

One day, all this will be filled with shoes, bras, empty bottles of Rioja and tatty old bits of wooden furniture riddled with woodworm picked up from Salvation Army shops...

Don't you mean filled with the clean lines of Ikea spruce furniture and its cunning storage methods?

Is that a balcony? A balcony looking onto greenery? How wonderful. But, darling, turn that light off. Broad daylight outside. Planet to save 'n all that.

80 million best wishes for the new place.

You have lots of boxes with books in.

That is good.

Best of luck with the rioja and bras...

Now's your chance to go minimalist. Don't places look good when they're empty?

Flat yes? Looks like you have a lovely view. I can just see you on balmy summer evenings. Sipping on a naughty red. Relaxing with a ciggie and enjoying watching the local hoodies going at each other with machetes in the park opposite. :D

Really really pleased for you mate. I think you should post another pic when you fill it up with your shit! ;)

Not that you want to sell just yet, but apparently estate agents advise you to hide all your books away when you put a property on the market. They unnerve potential buyers and make them feel inadequate.

Llewtrah - one day, I hope to own a piece or two of IKEA.

It was only for the photo, BiB, it would have been a bit dark otherwise (because of the glorious summer weather we're having this week.)

Thanks, Billy. I'm resisting advice to get rid of them.

Thanks, Alda!

Arabella - right. It feels quite big too at the moment.

Cheers Rad. You're not so very far from the truth there.

Tim, what, even when I put the coffee on and the bread baking in the oven?

Thanks P. I will email you pics.
