Surfing around, I came across the wonder that is Engrish - I'm guessing that everybody else knows about this, but it's all shiny and new to me, and has provided much pleasure. Even more wonderful is the fact that they have been turned into t-shirts - I'm debating between 'Hurry Up The Cakes', 'Run Around Naked' and 'No Staring At Monkey'.

I've been trying to think of an Engrish-style comment to make but can't think of any.
"No Staring At Monkey" is definitely my favourite between the two.
I found a book of Engrish in a bookshop and stood there chuckling at it for ages, much to the bemusement of the other customers.
I can never tire of dodgy translations.
FN uses dodgy translations as the subject heading on her posts sometimes, always amusing.
Love that engrish site!
I certainly didn't know about it - thanks for the tip. Hilarous!
I have an email joke that made the rounds a few years back, in which the EU collected English-language signs around the world. Some of them are SO FUNNY, like: 'Would you like to ride on your own ass?' (donkey rides) 'The manager has personally passed all the water served here' (restaurant in Mexico) etc. etc. Too funny!
Billy, right, I think you have to be a non-native speaker for it to work.
Matt, it was from a zoo, apparently.
Anx - that might have been the book from the website, I've got it on my Amazon wishlist.
Realdoc - First Nations is a wordsmith, I must read her more often.
Hi Dcver! welcome back...
Alda, there were some great ones from Spanish menus when I lived there, though I can't remember them now.
Ooh, that's one of my favourite web pages..
Some Finglish on menu:
"You can have crap on your pizza."
"Ice cream with warm bear halves and toffee sauce."
"Japanese guests can have traditional breakfast with stinky rice and fishes."
"Try traditional Finnish pee soup."
