It is disappointing stuff, especially from such a daring fashion icon, but had to be pointed out. Thanks to Sarah's Dave for the link.

Disappointing stuff? I wouldn't say that, it's just an old rapper blogging about his kids and stuff he's doing. I mean it's not brilliant, but it's not bad either, you know?
My main disappointment is his banner doesn't say 'STOP... Hammer time'.
Well, it's not bad Matt, and I wish him well, but I was disappointed. He was world famous, he's someone who's experienced the heighths, and the depths, he's pioneered gold lame trousers, I was expecting something a little more, I don't know, colourful...?
I think he was just a creation of the music industry, someone who, like Elvis, ripped off a lot of what was going on in the more underground hip-hop scene and popularized it.
Anyway, I've seen his house. It was near San Jose, CA and took up a whole hillside. But that was back in the day. I think he had to sell it. And Vanilla Ice had to go back to business school...
Hi JB. You saw his house? See, this is the kind of thing I wanted - "Here is a photo of my bathroom, with the diamond-studded bath-taps and Olympic-sized bath..." Ah, Vanilla Ice. Now there would be an interesting blog...
