Postcard from Berlin

In the misty mists of time, I found the blog of lovely Broke In Berlin. So I when I dragged Rae (not a blogger) to Berlin, we met the lovely BiB, and it was like we'd always known each other, and Rae conceded there might be something in this blogging lark. And I liked it so much I met Em (not a blogger) there another time, and she met BiB.

Then she and Bad Sarah (also not a blogger) went to Berlin, and they met up with BiB. And sent me a postcard.

Aw...

...and we had such fun. It was great.

That postcard might be of the street that Ben Perry - a blogger you met here - now lives on. Though it might not be.

I haven't had a postcard for over a year. And certainly not a DDR chic one.

I know!! It was a really cool thing to happen! Glad your postcard arrived:) Will have to tell you the drama about finding a post box - I didn't know what to look for so we asked a waitress who looked at me like I was MAD. They are yellow in Berlin in case anyone ever needs to find it - it almost looks like a recycling bin.

I've been in the same pub in London as Del too. I hope you're feeling odd-one-outish, Mr. Footman!

I went to Berlin and met the BiBmeister too! And I went to Finland, but didn't meet Taiga because I wasn't a blogger then, which just goes to show the power of blogging.

So when shall we two meet, Miss Slaminsky?! (Luckily for you Tim I think I'm unlikely to make it to Thailand in the near future!)

Tim, if I knew your address I'd send you a postcard.

Del, yay for blogs!

Taiga, one day I'll come to Finland and buy you a coffee.

Sar, he's a loveable blogger.

Marsha, hopefully around Easter, as I'm planning to visit GSE?

We do all love the BiB, for he is a lovely person, and much better a soul than he'll ever let on to himself.

Yes, the vicarious enjoyment of friends who blog! We had a lovely time, and seeing BiB is always a pleasure, never a chore!! Thank you Slammers for kick-starting the whole thing
