I saw a preview of this on Loose Women earlier this week (well, I'm in a confessional mood, and I have no shame).
Am patiently waiting for Teenage Jesus And The Jerks - The Musical to reach the Dartford Orchard Theatre.

Geoff - quite, and just what Miranda Sawyer was saying, reviewing it on Radio 4. Trying to say tactfully 'Blondie fans used to be sort of cool...'
What I don't understand is that DSS is so associated with Madonna and, well, that one song, Into The Groove, and then they go and set it to Blondie's music. It's just so semiotically wrong. I bet there's not even a hand-dryer in it.
I read a hilarious review of this today - it was titled: Desperately Seeking Early Closure!
It's just a random collision of an old film script and a bunch of songs. I'm currently adapting The Exorcist, with occasional pauses for songs by Ronan Keating. And you know, it kinda works.

I can't help thinking that it would have been better if they'd invented a new story to shoehorn the songs into.
