So if I made a comment about teaches having it easy with long breaks would I get stabbed with a red marker pen? :-)

Your writing is great. Unlike mine I can read yours.

Hope it eases up soon.

Ahhh, the blahs have set in, Annie!

Hats off to you for all you do for the kids. Hope you got the postcard!

I like this post, it's different, and I just can't resist a hand-written note.

That bit of irony at the end cracked me up.

Postcards on their way but they might take a bit long because of the Christmas mail.

Not just that Adrian, but I would come after you with my staple gun ;-)

It's my own fault, we were making sandwiches yesterday (don't ask) and I chose jam and Nutella as a nice easy filling. Imagine 30 of them on a sugar rush, it was like being in a room full of Viking berserkers.

Thanks Nat and GG! I'm checking my pigeonhole everyday, with baited breath... I promise I'll post about it when they do arrive but they may be held up because of Christmas post here too.

I liked the post - what an original idea - handwriting now that will never catch on ;) Hope my letter got there ok.

Keep the eyes on the finish line. ;-)

Phonics Assessment... What's your opinion on phonics, Annie? I only heard about this method recently when it was announced that it was being rolled out nationwide. Can't say I'm all that sure about them. But then I'm not a teacher.

Annie, eagle-eyed-Spanish-learning MOI have noticed that you wrote "muy cansado". That's masculine, girl!
It should have been "muy cansada".
By the way, I know of people who drink their coffee on the loo if they're in a hurry!
Not MOI but it's worth considering!

I think everybody feels the same way they can't wait till the Christmas holidays just to rest for a while then we can get back into it in the New year.

Get yourself some rest and when you're done take a nap on top of it all as a reward!!! Take care

Thanks all. US, it hasn't arrived yet, will definitely post about it here when it does... probably held up by Christmas mail.

Rad, phonics, hmmm... not a bad thing, pretty good for our kids who all have English as a second language, but the government always gets evangelical about something or other in education then seems to do a U-turn and chuck it out 5 years later.

Good spot, eagle eyed Cream! *peers down jumper to check* yup, am definitely a girl, no wonder everyone used to laugh at my Spanish in Spain. ;-)

Great idea! If I tried to do a post like that nobody would be able to read my hand-writing.
