Celeb spot of the day

which the Curve and bad Sarah's other half may especially appreciate - Kevin Rowlands, trying on trilby hats in Rockit in Brick Lane.

'Kevin!
Geno is one of my favourite ever tunes & a work of genius, unfairly overshadowed by Come On Eileen, which I find somewhat irritating,' (I nearly said, but didn't, in case he thought I was trying to pick him up.)

In other news, shortly before spotting Kevin, I saw some goats, chickens (and a cock), guinea pigs, donkeys, sheep and a pig today. For those of you in the countryside this is probably just your average day, but it's a rare thing in the middle of the City. Huzzah!

cute kids...

Aw, nice pictures!

I don't think I'd recognise our Kevin these days.

I love the city farm. I assume this was a trip with a class of wide-eyed urban kids who thought chickens grew the breadcrumbs naturally? Any pictures of the pig would be appreciated over at Violet Towers, by the way. We just think they're cool.

"What did you do at school today, Iqbal?"

"Ms Slaminsky made us look at cocks."

"That's nice, dear."

Billy, at least he's moved out of his transvestite phase *shudder*, he did not look right as a woman.

Violet, it was a risk assessment for our trip in July. The pig was hiding in the shade. He is very cool.

Tim, I was so waiting for that. It had to be you...

YOU SAW HIM!!! Wow - he is an icon. Kevin Rowlands is a gift to mankind and yes - I will tell other half that you saw him. There is so much more to Dexy's than Co'mon Eileen and Geno! Let's Make This Precious is my personal favorite.

BTW - there are sheep living in the middle of Russell Square - near New Brunswick Centre. I always worry for them that people try and climb in and hump them or something but they seem very happy - dirty, wooly and happy. Who knew!

YOu should have asked Kevin Rowlands what underwear he had on.

See the cover to My Beauty if you don't know why. :D

Sar, hump them? Are people in the city more attracted to sheep than people in the country, do you reckon?
You funny...

Rad *peeks through fingers* Ye Gods!

Why, Kevin, why? Not content with inflicting your dungarees and armpit hair on us, you had to take it that bit further...

He did an entire show at either Reading or Glasto like it. A mate of mine is one of the 270 or so people that actually bought that cd. He reckons it's ace! :D

I mostly see pigeons and ducks. I get chastised for photographing the pigeons (but only the mutant hybrid ones with white markings).
