Reginald Perrin

Ever had a desire to leave your clothes on the beach and bunk off out of your own life? I'm having one of those right now.

I couldn't carry off the teeth.

Yes. Constantly.

Teeth, Geoff? I will have to watch it again.

Oh, Radski - what are we going to do?

The clothes/beach/bunk off desire is my constant state. My life is what happens while trying, not always successfully, to resist.
It's possible that this makes The Husband an inflatable armband.

Me too. I constantly fantasize about running away from All This, when there's embarrassingly little to leave behind.

Yes, me too. It's more 'Ladder of Years' than 'Reggie Perrin' though.

There is no point. I realised this when I was considering buggering off to NZ. Wherever I run, I'll always take the problem with me because the problem is me.

What GreatSheElephant said. I have tried constantly to reinvent myself at different stages of my life, but much to my own irritation, I remain me. Clunky, clumsy, stupid me.

I do, however, quite fancy the swim.
