Get me one of these.

By coincidence, I'm nibbling on a couple of squares of Green & Black's Maya Gold as I type this. I love the undercurrents of soluble asprin in Maya Gold. Does this mean I could become the Jilly Goolden of chocolate tasting?

Ooh that's a good idea. I'd rather be fed it in the bath though... erm... or is that just me.

not literally though, that would be a bit much.

I can see it now Betty... 'I'm getting Creme de Menthe, I'm getting Benylin...' I love Maya Gold, but my favourite is the Almond. In fact I wish someone would courier it to me RIGHT NOW.

Billy, but would it have to be a bath of milk?

Rosie - you, me and Billy in a bath in the London Eye, being fed Green & Black's chocolate? It can be arranged...

I love the way that describing something as a "tasting" excuses it from just being an orgy of self indulgence... And huzzah for that.

If it's really a tasting session, it's essentially a promotional event for G&B. In which case, how do they have the balls to charge so much for it?

Aw Tim, you're no fun. You could, of course, just do your own tasting event by taking all the different bars with you on the Eye - or just by having a packet of Smarties on the Embankment, as Diamond Geezer said in the comments.

I occasionally kid myself that one day I'll go for the whole "champagne and canapes in the private capsule" lark on the London Eye. And now it can be had with chocolate, you say? (And not just any old chocolate - only my favourite chocolate (G&B milk))

Bugger.
